The Robert Stories (illustrated by Annabel Wright)
Released: 9th March 2018
|Book||£15.00||Out of Stock|
This is a magical book of childhood adventures, scrapes and bad behaviour. It was conceived by Annabel Wright (Aggi, The Pastels) and her sister Melanie as a family project to make something positive from their dad, John, being diagnosed with motor neurone disease. The Robert Stories as told by John, are some of the highlights from the wild tales which she and her sisters enjoyed in their own childhood. The book is illustrated by Annabel and designed by Melanie.
Annabel: "The stories are all true. I wanted to be sure of remembering them so I recently asked him to write them down. I love how the innocence of the words contrasts with the action described. They still make me laugh."
Hardback, with matt printed cover. 23.7cm x 15.8cm x 1cm. 44 pages, 120gsm book wove. 37 black and white illustrations. Signed by Annabel Wright.
£5 from the sale of this book will be donated to MND Scotland, which supports people affected by motor neurone disease in Scotland.
