Billie Eilish has revealed details on her highly anticipated sophomore album. The 16-track studio album, titled Happier Than Ever, will be released via Darkroom/Interscope Records on July, 30.

Ironically given the name of lead single NDA, we've yet to hear the full 16 track album that constitutes Billie Eilish's second. We're fans though and the singles from this record are smokin' hot pop bangers. The aforementioned NDA crashes in with a howling guitar feedback before a 100 BPM (that's guess) juddering beat comes in with some subtle references to some previous Eilish hits (that warbling synth from Bad Guy). The chorus sounds like Charli XCX produced by 1995's Nine Inch Nails but like, literally more pop? The song's about being famous and how lonely it is, which for Eilish at this stage in her career is about right on time. Lost Cause is more lurching with some pleasing dashes of Neo Soul, focusing on that smokey vocal tone that teenager has made iconic. What with her being arguably the biggest new pop star in the world you'd be forgiven for forgetting that she's got a great, great voice, unlike many of her contemporaries not afraid to be understated and off-the-cuff. The other song we've heard in advance, Your Power, has a completely different instrumental palette. Acoustic guitars and a heart-breaking vocal croon swimming in oozing reverb, it's pretty great. You know, it's customary to complain about all that modern music and the charts being vaccuous etc. etc. but Billie Eilish is one of the biggest stars in the world and this is bloody quality.
