Glasgow 3 piece Chump follow up their moody demo of last year with a 2 track 7" recorded at Green Door, released on Gerry Loves Records. While a clearer recording, Chump haven't sacrificed any of the sweetly doomed atmosphere of the tape with Tara Masterson Hally's swooning vocal breezily navigating the mid-paced, swelling backing. There's airs of mid-90s guitar searching, think the slower Breeders songs, or Juliana Hatfield fronting Red House Painters, with some neat studio inflections filling in the gaps where the lyrics fall away.
