Covid-19 update
Monorail Music is continuing to follow Scottish Government advice with regard to Covid-19. The shop is now open, however with limited hours and a maximum capacity of 4 customers at one time. We are also able to offer a limited online service which now includes shipping three days a week. Jim McAteer is a singer-songwriter from Glasgow.
He's the country-blues guitarist with the baritone Johnny Cash voice you might have heard from across the room of Nice N Sleazy or The 78 during open-mic night. In fact, you could say he's one of Glasgow's open-mic institutions!
His warm-hearted songs, once heard, stay with you, and have become cherished by Glasgow audiences and further afield.
Jim's finally got together a stellar group of musicians from the local scene to lay these tracks down to CD and they've never sounded so well-rounded, timeless or consoling.
